Accessibility for Web Apps: A Pragmatic Approach.
When tackling digital accessibility, where should you begin? What are the most common pitfalls when building web applications in particular? In this talk, we'll answer these questions, and also give you some simple tools you can use to meaningfully improve the accessibility of your projects. We'll talk about accessibility for keyboard only users, screen reader users, users with low vission, and others. You'll also have a chance to see a live demo of a screen reader in action, learn a bit about how they work, and see how you can use them to test your own apps.
