This talk will entail our journey at PayPal to develop PayPal's checkout for mobile. The technologies we tried, the pro's and con's of them and the reasons for SYR, a distilled React Native API, with a lightweight implementation, aimed at shared experience developers (SDK developers). SYR allows React-Nativeisque apps to go places they couldn’t have gone before, and supports internalization to ensure that SDKs you build with SYR are as portable as they would be if it was 100% native code.

I am a recent Grad who has been working with PayPal engagement experiences building SDKs for merchants to integrate on all platforms. I love working with JavaScript, both good and the bad parts.
